Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy applies to all bookings made directly with Stella Mare Luxury Villa, Tenerife. By confirming a reservation, you agree to the cancellation terms set out below. Bookings made through third-party platforms are governed by that platform's own cancellation policy.
2. Cancellation by the Guest
- More than 60 days before arrival: full refund of the deposit, minus any non-refundable processing fees.
- Between 30 and 60 days before arrival: 50% of the total booking value is refunded.
- Less than 30 days before arrival: the booking is non-refundable.
- No-show or early departure: the full booking value is retained and no refund is issued.
3. Modifications to a Booking
Requests to change arrival or departure dates are accommodated where possible, subject to availability and any difference in seasonal rates. Modification requests made within 30 days of arrival are treated as a cancellation if the new dates cannot be honoured.
4. Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking due to circumstances within our control (e.g. property unavailability), you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. Our liability is limited to the total value of the booking and does not extend to flights, transfers, or other third-party costs.
5. Force Majeure
We are not liable for cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or travel disruptions. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule your stay where possible, but refunds are not guaranteed.
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and personal liability. This is the most reliable way to protect against unexpected events that may affect your stay.
7. How to Cancel
To cancel or modify a booking, please contact us in writing as soon as possible. The effective cancellation date is the date we receive your written request.
8. Refunds
Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method. Any bank or currency conversion fees incurred during the refund are the responsibility of the guest.
